Safety, health and the environment have Koole’s highest priority. Not only for our employees but for all those involved in our projects. We also make people aware of efficient and responsible use of equipment. Maintaining safety, based on the requirements of the customer is an integral part of our policy. Both laws and the following quality standards are carefully followed, which results in Koole’s six certificates.
Last week the safety coordinators of Koole Contractors were present on the safety day of one our clients. Koole Contractors prioritizes working safely on the work floor, and was happy to present our values at the safety day. During that day, our safety coordinators explained and showed the importance of how to work safely with and close to large equipment such as excavators.
Next to that they discussed the value of the LMRA (Last Minute Risk Analysis) -process, what each of our employees needs to follow before starting their task. After the presentation and the theory, people were able to go outside where one of our excavators was set up. Our safety coordinators and the crane operator showed the attendees how the crane is operated and were even invited to operate the crane a bit by themselves, under supervision of the crane operator. Overall it was an interesting and insightful day, and the rainy weather didn’t had effect on the positive vibe.
