Job description

As a planner/calculator in demolition projects, your role involves meticulously preparing and calculating project requirements. You collaborate with colleagues across Koole NV, both during the tender phase and throughout project execution. Working closely with the project manager, you play a pivotal role in achieving our efficiency and customer satisfaction goals. Additionally, you ensure the seamless management of technical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing detailed calculations for demolition projects, considering material expenses, labor durations, equipment costs and other relevant variables
  • Performing cost analyses and generating quotations for potential projects, involving competitive assessments and market trend analysis
  • Aiding in the development of work methodologies and schedules for demolition projects, considering safety protocols, environmental regulations, and client specifications
  • You verify that all technical administrative tasks related to the project are properly organized
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the administrative workflow

Skill & Experience

  • Higher education diploma or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as construction engineering or civil engineering. Familiarity with demolition works is a plus
  • Extensive experience as a planner or calculator in the construction industry
  • Comprehensive understanding of building materials, demolition methodologies, estimation techniques, and relevant laws and regulations
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to understand complex issues and find suitable solutions
  • Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude, capable of effectively interacting with divers stakeholders, colleagues and customers
  • Proficient in MS Office
