About us
Koole is looking for some cutters/welders for our location in Belgium. If you have two right hands, are motivated, widely employable and have technical insight then we are looking for you. You will be working in Belgium and can be deployed throughout the country. There is also the possibility to occasionally work on foreign projects, mostly within Europe. As a cutter you will perform work according to the instructions of the foreman/ site manager.
Responsibilities
- Proper execution of tasks assigned to you
- Reporting to the Foreman
- To comply with guidelines and procedures at all times
- Preventing damage/accidents while performing assigned tasks
Key Accountabilities
- Cutting industrial material with a cutting torch
- Properly using and maintaining tools, transportation equipment, machinery and other facilities such as: shelters, locker rooms and material chains and/or wagons
- Taking care of third party property and personal protective equipment
- Taking care of your own safety and that of colleagues and third parties
- Proper use and maintenance of installed safety equipment
Skill & Experience
Good knowledge of the Dutch language in word and writing is required. Familiarity with the French language is a preferred advantage. Required additional diplomas/certificates/documents:
- Driving license B; BE is a preferred advantage
- Education working at height is a preferred advantage
- Basic safety SCC (B-VCA) or (VOL-VCA)
