Job description
As a foreman, your are responsible for leading and coordinating daily specialized demolition assignments on site. You ensure efficient and effective work execution by managing a team of workers and subcontractors. You play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety and progress of projects. You report directly to the project leader and work closely with various stakeholders, including customers and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily execution of assignments and projects on-site
- Ensure effective planning and coordination of tasks, including delegating assignments to colleagues and subcontractors
- Regularly communicating with the project manager to review project advancement and address any issues or modifications
- Managing the project administration, including maintaining documentation, reporting and registering the progress of work
- Monitor compliance with safety and quality standards and, where necessary, take corrective action to maintain them
- Leading, motivating, and directing the site team to attain peak performance
Skill & Experience
- Degree in the technical field
- Extensive knowledge of demolition or remediation
- Hands on mentality
- Drivers license B
- VCA vol certificate
- Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team towards common goals
