ABOUT THE ROLE
Do you enjoy keeping machinery running and working with a small team? At Koole, you will work on our equipment yourself while supervising four colleagues in the workshop. You will take the lead, order the necessary parts and, above all, remain hands-on.
You will carry out maintenance and repairs and troubleshoot faults on equipment including wheel loaders, forklifts, trucks, cranes, generators and hydraulic attachments. You will also work on other equipment in our onshore and offshore fleet. You will contribute ideas for improving our fleet and finding technical solutions for our projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out maintenance and repairs and troubleshoot faults on our equipment
- Work on wheel loaders, forklifts, trucks, cranes, generators and hydraulic attachments, among other equipment
- Supervise colleagues in the workshop while remaining actively involved in the work
- Order the necessary parts
- Suggest improvements to the equipment fleet and technical solutions for projects
What you bring
- Technical training and relevant experience as a mechanic working on construction machinery or heavy equipment
- Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems; welding skills are an advantage
- Experience supervising a small team while continuing to work hands-on
- A VCA safety certificate and a driving licence
- Good command of Dutch and the ability to communicate in English
- Comfortable using a phone and email; experience with a purchasing or maintenance system is an advantage
- You work independently, think in solutions and are flexible when the job requires it
