NORNE and KOOLE 31
KOOLE is proud to announce that we added two ‘state of the art’ anchor handling tug supply vessels to our versatile fleet.
KOOLE’s fleet of two seagoing anchor handling tugs “KOOLE 42” and “KOOLE 35” has now increased to four with the purchase of the anchor handling tugs “NORNE” and “KOOLE 31” (former “VIKING”).
Both the “NORNE” and “KOOLE 31” are state of the art anchor handling tug supply vessel (ANTS). With their excellent seakeeping behavior and her maneuverability, the “NORNE” and “KOOLE 31” have outstanding towing characteristics.
After the KOOLE 42 had a major overhaul at the Damen dry dock in Curacao. The KOOLE 42 has been completely blasted/sprayed, has had her 5 annual renewal for Class and a lot of repairs/regular maintenance has been done. We can go full steam ahead for the next 5 years. She is currently assigned to her next assignment in Gibraltar.
Ready for action. After a long conversion process, the K10030 is finally ready for action. When KOOLE acquired the barge, it was directly docked at our own premises, painted in the company colors and completely Class renewed.
After the docking, the barge is completely conversed into a 12 PAX accommodation crane barge. It’s equipped with a large 200 tons Liebherr Crawler Crane (HS 8200 HD), 4 x 60 tons mooring winches with 7,5 tons HHP anchors, 2 Volvo generator sets with 2 x 134 KvA, Tideman workboat.
