  • About the job

    As Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all electrical systems and equipment onboard. You’ll ensure the reliable operation of power generation and distribution systems, contributing to safe and efficient offshore operations. Working closely with the Chief and Assistant Engineer, you will play an essential role in keeping the unit fully operational during offshore decommissioning projects.

  • Responsibilities

    • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment onboard the jack-up
    • Conduct inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on generators, switchboards, control systems, and power distribution networks
    • Support the Chief Engineer and Assistant Engineer in technical operations
    • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
    • Provide electrical support during offshore decommissioning activities
    • Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and technical documentation
  • Skills

    • Recognized qualification and education as an Electrician (marine or offshore background)
    • Proven experience with electrical systems on jack-ups, rigs, or offshore vessels
    • Knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, and power distribution (advantageous)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on mindset
    • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
