  • About the job

    As Offshore Installation Manager (OIM), you are the overall person in charge of one of our offshore jack-up units in the North Sea. You are responsible for ensuring that all offshore operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements.
    You will lead and coordinate all offshore activities, with a strong focus on decommissioning projects, and act as the key link between the offshore team, clients, and onshore management.

  • Responsibilities

    • Leading and managing all offshore operations on the jack-up unit
    • Ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant performance of all activities
    • Coordinating operational planning, execution, and reporting with onshore management
    • Promoting a strong safety culture across the crew and contractors
    • Managing and mentoring onboard personnel to maintain high performance and morale
    • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and company representatives
    • Ensure safe and compliant offshore operations at all times
    • Maintain and enforce safety and environmental standards according to company, client, and regulatory requirements
    • Lead the implementation of decommissioning and marine operations plans
    • Coordinate clear communication between offshore crew and shore-based management
    • Take decisive action in operational and emergency situations

  • What you bring

    • Proven experience as OIM or in a senior offshore management position on jack-up rigs
    • Solid background in offshore decommissioning and complex marine operations
    • In-depth knowledge of offshore safety management systems and regulatory standards
    • Fluent command of English, both written and spoken
    • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills
