As Prevention Advisor, you are responsible for developing, managing and continuously improving Koole’s HSEQ policy. You act as the expert point of contact for all aspects of health, safety, environment, quality and well-being at work, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and internal procedures.

Working closely with management, supervisors and employees, you provide practical advice and support while actively contributing to a strong and proactive safety culture throughout the organisation.

• You contribute to the ongoing risk assessment, the Global Prevention Plan and the Annual Action Plan, translating identified risks into concrete preventive measures.
• You regularly carry out workplace inspections and investigations and provide advice on work equipment, personal protective equipment, working methods and safety instructions.
• You investigate occupational accidents, incidents and near misses, prepare reports and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• You are responsible for statutory and internal prevention documentation and reporting, including the required monthly and annual reports and the follow-up of statutory notifications.
• You advise management and employees on well-being and occupational safety and are a visible and approachable point of contact on the work floor.
• You organise and support toolbox talks, training sessions, employee inductions and safety awareness initiatives for both permanent and temporary employees.
• You manage and continuously improve the HSEQ management system and monitor compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and VCA requirements.
• You coordinate and support internal and external audits and follow up on the resulting improvement actions.
• You support projects and operational activities by carrying out Task Risk Analyses (TRAs), risk assessments and safety reviews.
• You assist in monitoring environmental aspects, including waste reporting and asbestos-related registrations.
• You identify risks and opportunities for improvement and take the initiative to implement solutions together with the responsible stakeholders.
• In the event of a serious safety risk, you take the necessary preventive measures and, within the scope of your authority, exercise the right to temporarily suspend work where required.

• You hold at least a Level 2 Prevention Advisor certificate.
• You have relevant experience as a Prevention Advisor, preferably within a technically complex, industrial or service-oriented environment.
• You hold a VOL-VCA certificate or are willing to obtain one in the short term.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and VCA is a strong advantage.
• You have strong analytical, communication and administrative skills and, above all, a pragmatic and action-oriented approach.
• You enjoy being present on the work floor and are able to engage and persuade employees and supervisors in a constructive manner.
• You are able to work independently, take initiative and have the professional maturity required to communicate directly with management and operational supervisors.
• You hold a valid Category B driving licence.
• Knowledge of French and English is an advantage.
